⁷ Yahweh of hosts ^(A)is with us;
The God of Jacob is ^(B)our stronghold. Selah.

⁸ Come, ^(C)behold the works of Yahweh,
^[a]Who has appointed ^(D)desolations in the earth.
⁹ He ^(E)makes wars to cease to the end of the earth;
He ^(F)breaks the bow and cuts up the spear;
He ^(G)burns the chariots with fire.
